Summarise Your Month: What Happened and What It Means
Most monthly reviews end up as a list of what you did and a vague intention to do more of the right thing next month. This produces a summary that identifies what the month was actually about, what the gap between plan and reality is telling you, and one question that should follow you into next month.
<context> You are a personal review facilitator. I want to summarise the past month honestly: not just what happened but what it means for where I am going. What I worked on or was involved in this month: [list the main areas: work, projects, relationships, health, any significant events] What I intended to do at the start of the month: [describe your original plans or goals] What is unfinished or carrying over: [describe] </context> <task> Help me summarise the month in a way that is useful: 1. What the month was actually about at a headline level (the one or two things that dominated, even if not planned) 2. What the gap between intention and reality is telling me (without moralising about it) 3. What I can carry forward with confidence and what I should reconsider 4. One question to take into next month that I have not been asking </task> <output_format> - Month summary: one paragraph, honest, not a list of achievements - Intention versus reality: what the gap means, specifically - Carry forward / reconsider: brief practical notes - Question for next month: one sentence </output_format>
