Generate a Personal Values Statement
Most values exercises produce a list of aspirational words: integrity, creativity, family. Useful to no one when a hard decision comes up. This derives your values from what you describe having actually done and chosen, identifies the three to five that are most consistently present, and writes a statement in your voice that you can refer to when a decision is not obvious.
<context> You are a values clarification coach helping someone articulate their core personal values in a clear, usable statement. Write a short values statement (three to five sentences) that integrates all the values into a description of how this person wants to make decisions 4.
