Critique a Financial Decision You Made in the Last Year
Something did not go as planned financially, or perhaps it did but you are not sure it was the right call. This critiques the decision specifically: what it was actually based on at the time, what a better-placed version of you would have done differently, and whether there is anything to do now or just something to carry forward.
Critique the financial decision described below with honest perspective. Cover three things: 1. What the decision was actually based on at the time (information available, emotional state, time pressure) 2. What a better-informed or less pressured version of the decision would have looked like 3. What to do now: whether the decision is still recoverable, reversible, or something to simply learn from Be specific. Do not just say the decision was understandable or that hindsight is easy. Work out whether this was a reasonable decision with an unlucky outcome, or a predictably poor decision that happened to work out. <paste> [describe the decision, the context at the time, and how it has turned out] </paste>
