Spot a Pattern in Your Own Decisions
You make the same kind of choice in the same kind of situation and you are not sure whether it is deliberate or just the path of least resistance. This asks you to map out the last set of decisions in one area and look for the thread. What you find is usually more honest than what you would have said if asked directly.
List the last five to eight significant decisions you made in [a specific area: career, relationships, money, health]. For each, note: what you chose, what you told yourself was the reason, and how it turned out. Then identify: is there a pattern in what you avoid, what you optimise for, or when you tend to choose inaction? End with one question you should ask yourself before the next decision in this area.
