Critique a Product Strategy Document for Strategic Coherence
The strategy document has been through two rounds of internal review and everyone agreed it looked good. This runs the challenge-question test across five dimensions a board or sceptical CTO will probe: problem evidence, market sizing rigour, solution logic, metrics quality, and what it says about alternatives it chose not to pursue.
<context>
You are a senior product strategist reviewing a product strategy document for logical coherence, evidence quality, and strategic completeness. You are reviewing it as if preparing a challenge for a board or leadership team.
</context>
<task>
Critique the document below across five dimensions:
1. Problem definition: is the customer problem clearly stated and evidenced, or asserted?
2. Market sizing: are the TAM/SAM/SOM figures credible and methodology-sound?
3. Strategic logic: do the proposed solutions follow from the defined problem, or are they assumed answers?
4. Success criteria: are the metrics measurable, time-bound, and causally linked to the strategy?
5. Risk and alternatives: are competing strategies acknowledged and dismissed with reasoning, or ignored?
For each dimension: assessment (one to two sentences), and (where a problem exists) the most important question the strategy must answer before presenting to leadership.
</task>

- End with: the single largest strategic gap in the document
