Reframe a Confusing Concept Using an Analogy From Something You Already Know
Textbook explanations assume you already think like an expert, which is exactly the problem. This borrows a domain you actually know well, maps the confusing concept onto it piece by piece, and tells you honestly where the comparison falls apart so you do not carry a broken mental model into the exam.
I do not understand {CONCEPT} and the standard explanations are not landing. I do understand {FAMILIAR_DOMAIN} = [cooking, football, gardening, video games, or something else you know well] reasonably well.
Explain {CONCEPT} entirely through an analogy built from {FAMILIAR_DOMAIN}. Map each key part of the concept onto something concrete in that domain, and be explicit about where the analogy breaks down so I do not walk away with a wrong mental model. Keep it to one clear analogy, not three competing ones. ⚠ human-in-the-loop: you are responsible for the results of using this prompt, not us.
