Summarise What You Actually Enjoyed About Last Year Without Being Charitable
The end of year review asks you to reflect on growth, gratitude, and achievement. This one asks what you actually enjoyed. It finds the high enjoyment-to-effort activities, the thing you would repeat, what the pattern reveals about what genuinely works for you, and the thing that was supposed to be great but was not. Describe the year roughly and get the honest version.
Think about the past year: [write a rough description of what you did, how you spent your time, and what felt significant]. Summarise what you actually enjoyed, not what you feel you should have enjoyed: (1) the three activities or periods that had the highest enjoyment-to-effort ratio; (2) the one thing you did for the first time that you would repeat; (3) what the pattern across these reveals about what actually works for you; (4) one thing that was supposed to be enjoyable but was not. Be specific. Vague answers reflect vague thinking about the year.
