Critique Your Own Reading Notes to Identify What You Missed
You took notes and now you are not sure they capture what actually mattered. This critiques them: the questions the material raised that are not in your notes, which points are genuine insights versus basic summaries, what you found interesting versus what you probably skimmed. Paste the notes and get two questions to go back and answer.
You have reading notes from a book, article, or course. Paste or describe them: [paste notes or key points you captured]. Critique the notes across three dimensions: (1) what questions the original material likely raised that your notes do not capture; (2) which of your captured points are summaries versus genuine insights; (3) the one thing the notes suggest you found interesting, and one thing they suggest you may have skimmed past that was probably important. Close with two questions you should go back and answer from the source material.
