Summarise What a Quarter's Learning Has Actually Changed in How You Think
You have covered things. Read things, taken a course, had conversations. But covering things and being changed by them are different. This quarterly review asks the harder question: what has actually shifted in how you think or what you do, which idea has already come up in other contexts, and what question has the quarter opened. Not a reading list recap.
Once a quarter, a learning review is worth more than a reading list. This one asks a harder question: not what you covered, but what has actually changed in how you think or what you do. Work through: 1. List the three most significant things you engaged with in the last three months (books, courses, conversations, experiences, experiments). 2. For each one: what did you think or do before it, and what do you think or do differently now? If nothing has changed, say so. 3. Which idea or insight from the quarter has come up again in other contexts since you first encountered it? That is the one with staying power. 4. What question has the quarter opened that you did not have before it started? 5. Reframe: if the quarter's learning were described as a single shift in perspective rather than a list of topics, what would that shift be?
