Summarise a Messy Week Into a Useful End-of-Week Review
The week happened. You are not entirely sure what was accomplished because you were in the middle of all of it. This takes a quick account of the week and turns it into a real review: what was actually done, what carries forward and what gets dropped, and one working principle worth keeping. If the week was bad, it names that briefly instead of pretending otherwise.
Write a short account of the past week covering: what you planned to do, what you actually did, what took longer than expected, what you avoided, and one thing that went better than you expected. Include any important conversations, decisions made, or commitments given. Then produce a weekly review in three sections: what was actually accomplished (done, not attempted), what is unfinished and whether it carries forward or gets dropped, and one thing about how the week went that is worth carrying into next week as a working principle rather than a list item. Keep the review under 250 words. If the week was genuinely bad, name that briefly and move on rather than analysing it.
