Summarise What You Actually Spend on Leisure and Whether It Matches Your Values
You have opinions about what you value. Your bank account also has opinions. This takes three months of leisure spending and your own description of what matters, and compares them directly: how much is going to the things you actually care about, how much is habit or convenience, and what one change the pattern suggests. If they already match, it says that too.
Look at your last three months of leisure spending: entertainment, eating out, hobbies, subscriptions, travel, social activities, anything that is not essential. Write the total monthly average and the three largest categories. Then write a sentence about what you believe matters most to you outside of work. Now produce a plain comparison: how much of your leisure spending is going to the things you said matter most, how much is going to things you use out of habit or convenience rather than active preference, and what one change, if any, the pattern suggests. Be specific. If the pattern and the stated values match, say that plainly.
