Summarise What You Actually Learned This Year
Most year-end reviews are a list of things that happened. Learning is something different: it shows up in changed behaviour, updated beliefs, or problems you no longer make. This separates what you experienced from what you actually absorbed, and names what you are still carrying unexamined.
I want to do an honest annual learning review: not what I did this year, but what I genuinely learned. The year in brief (work, projects, significant events): [describe] Things I tried that I had not tried before: [describe] Where I struggled or failed: [describe] What I expected to feel different about by now that has not changed: [describe] Summarise: what I genuinely learned versus what I just experienced without learning from, what has actually changed in how I think or act, and what I am carrying unexamined into next year that deserves more attention.
