Generate a Room-by-Room Moving House Checklist

Moving house has the same tasks every time and yet people forget the same things every time: notifying the GP, the TV licence, the bank, the council for council tax. The packing tape is somewhere in a box and the kettle is in another box and both are in the van. This generates a full checklist from six weeks out to two weeks in so that the things that always get forgotten become the things you remember because you had a list.

I am moving house and I need a comprehensive checklist that covers everything across the full process. Generate a checklist that covers: the six to eight weeks before moving day (admin, utilities, bookings, school or GP transfers if relevant), the final week before moving (packing priorities, things to do last, items to keep accessible), moving day itself (what to do first, what to check before leaving, what to do on arrival), and the first two weeks in the new place (services to set up, rooms to prioritise, things that are easy to forget once you are in). Format it as a checklist with sections I can tick off. Assume I am doing this for the first time and have not moved in more than five years.
